Chamber Draw (Epic app name: Chamber Draw) uses Epic Online Services (EOS) for all online multiplayer. An Epic Games account lets you play against friends, appear in the same lobby, and use Epic's peer-to-peer network so matches run smoothly.
Why an Epic Games account?
Instead of building our own accounts and servers, Chamber Draw plugs into Epic Online Services — the same free infrastructure Epic runs at massive scale. That gives you:
- A trusted, single login you may already have from other Epic games.
- Friends & lobby features through your existing Epic friends list.
- Host-authoritative, low-latency P2P matches with reliable relay fallback.
- Cross-play identity — the same account works across platforms that support EOS.
How sign-in works
The game starts the EOS SDK and prepares authentication.
You're authenticated with your Epic account (persistent auth remembers you; account-portal opens a browser on first run).
Host a lobby or join a friend's lobby using your Epic friends list.
Epic relays host-authoritative match state over P2P between seats.
What Epic sees
When you play online, Epic Online Services processes some data on its infrastructure. The table below summarizes what is involved:
| Data | Who sees it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Epic Account ID / display name | Epic, the host, and other players in your lobby | Identity, lobby roster, friends |
| Lobby & session metadata | Epic, lobby members | Matchmaking and connection setup |
| Friends list references | Epic (via the EOS friends interface) | Showing who's online / joinable |
| Match state (turns, cards, bombs, winners) | Host + players in that match only | Running the actual game — not stored by us |
We (Dev Nambiar) do not operate analytics on your Epic data, do not sell it, and do not store it on our own servers.

FAQ
Can I play online without an Epic account?
No. Online multiplayer requires a free Epic Games account, because EOS uses it for identity, friends, lobbies, and connectivity. Offline vs-AI always works without one.
Is my data shared with advertisers?
No. Chamber Draw has no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no data brokers. The game never sells personal information.
Does the game run its own servers?
No. Multiplayer uses Epic Online Services infrastructure (lobbies, P2P, relay). The "server authority" for each match is simply the host player's machine, and it exists only for the duration of the game.
I'm under 18 — can I play online?
You need an Epic account that permits online play. Epic Games handles age gating and parental consent for minors through its own account system, which Chamber Draw relies on.
How do I stop Chamber Draw using Epic services?
Switch to offline mode (playing vs AI) — nothing is contacted. To fully sign out, delete the app's local config data or uninstall the game.
